i just downloaded two tracks that are supposedly from the new album -- they both fade out about 30 seconds in. both the same song, too. i recognize it, though... maybe i heard them play it live? or is it previously released? dunno.

just scanned through the moon and antarctica and discovered that the song in question is the last one on it, "what people are made of." oh well, i'm sure it'll be leaked any day now... just not today, i guess.

My mistake - while Float On (and a song called Black Cadillac) are on slsk in studio versions, the rest of the shit I downloaded (cleverly numbered as if they were in album sequence) were, as you say, live tarcks and fake-outs. Bummer.

hopefully it won't sound like a major label release. moon and antarctica was v. good, but too long. hopefully this will be shorter/less produced/with more psychedelic guitar solos?

maybe i ask too much. i'm sure someone else will buy it and i'll get to hear it for months. not worried.
