so, i just downloaded "j'accuse ted hughes" from the infamous 2000 atp gig, and it's fantastic! the rest of the gig is downloading now. but what other sonic youth live sets do i want? there are loads out there. recommendations for side project shows are also v welcome.

whatever happened to Paintbox? there used to be an amazing Norwegian FTP server filled with SY bootlegs, singles, rarities, etc.

if anyone's interested, i have a handful of SY bootlegs I can burn for people. or put up on the web if anyone wants to give me webspace.

Toby, is there a tape/whatever of their London perf of 'Goodbye 20th Century' from 2-3 years ago? Most unfair booing I've ever heard at a concert!

And I felt sure that their 'infamous' ATP appearance was great despite all the indiewimp moanin' and groanin' - makes me really wanna catch them there this year, just thinkin' abt it.

this is a reminder because i was told a few years ago there exists a high quality recording of a "NYC Ghosts + Flowers" set except instrumental (the SY vocals/lyrics ruined it for me on that record). if anyone has it (and slsk), let's talk.

I think I got an email update from SY saying they were going to put that ATP show out as an SYR thing, did anyone else? I doubt I could dload something that long succesfully, anyway.
