I told you already Mike, it's a truly excellent album. Fred has elaborated very nicely over here and Josh's old thread is over here .

Re: "tricking them into believing that there’s more to song than is really there"- possibly true, though it seems the more I listen, the more I genuinely discover (in terms of sonic details). The album is peppered with deft, yet barely perceptible production touches. Many, I am convinced, still wait to be unearthed.
