Anyone have information on Ghenghis Records? They're based out of/near Columbia, South Carolina, and run releases by Electric Bird Noise, Erector Set, Go Carnivore!, Retaard Spoilage, and Vein.
The band I'm most interested in is Vein. They have two tracks available for download at epitonic.com ... 'Apex' is a sort of proto-industrial angry rock piece, but thankfully isn't cheese. 'Fourttrack' is a more subtle instrumental. Bboth songs are excellent and have a very Chrome-influenced vibe.
The only information I've been able to find at all is on the epitonic.com site, and they don't know of a website for Ghenghis. In case you haven't been to Epitonic, check it out. They have lots of free independent music mp3's for promotion ... the fact that they have 12 Muslimgauze tracks alone makes them worthwhile ..
