This from an interview with Chester from Linkin Park:

Q: What CDs have you bought recently?

Bennington: I bought Bunnybrains' ''Holiday Massacre '98.'' They are this independent
punk band from New York. I also bought a reggae mix covering old R&B songs.
I also bought the first Candlebox album because I only had it on tape.

Yay Bunnybrains!!! A little Bunnynoise could only improve things for them.

Got a link? Or a publication where we might find this?

He also bought CANDLEBOX, people.

As if that was necessary - every LP powerballad (cough) beats "Far Behind" like a full house beats two sevens. Unless he's going to tap "You" for inspiration.

Also - he already had Candlebox ON TAPE, people.

Bennington: Stone Temple Pilots are my biggest influence. I have never
devoted so much time and energy to a band. And to go from a major fan to
friends is way cool. Then I guess Zeppelin, The Smiths, The Cure, Depeche
Mode. I only saw Depeche Mode once, because I didn't have enough
money to drive to L.A. to see them.

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 15:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Think of how the world would have been different if he had devoted all his time and energy to The Smiths instead!

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 15:29 (twenty-two years ago)

He seems *really* fucking miserable. He should quit and join Bunnybrains.

Being friends with Weiland = a sign you have no friends (because everyone else is sick of you asking for money to help get Weiland some 'medicine')

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 16:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Any direction is a step up. On the evidence of "Numb," Mike Shinoda = Linda McCartney.

Joseph McCombs, Wednesday, 21 January 2004 19:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I actually don't mind Shinoda, he's a pretty decent rapper for being in a metal band really.

M@tt He1geson (Matt Helgeson), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 19:42 (twenty-two years ago)

but maybe I don't know shit from Shinoda ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

M@tt He1geson (Matt Helgeson), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 20:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I love you Matt. But you pain me.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 20:46 (twenty-two years ago)

thirteen years pass...

oops
