Is he that guy who produced the April March record? That's very nice in a get-US-indie-singer-to-pretend-to-be-a-French-teenager kind of way.

Or am I thinking of someone else?

yes thats him. i know him through a Valerie Lemercier album, which, in parts, is very nice, but also rather dull in other parts. i wondered if this was representative.

have you listened to "the genius of bertrand...."? It has his mixes of air, april march, mick harvey, nick cave etc - yr right, it's broing in parts, nothing tor ave home about, butinteresting in parts as well.

I liked "the genius of" . good parts are more than mediocre ones (ollano , what a surpise , the singer is lio's sister , do you remember amoreaux solitaires? ) .

He has a "real" album also. The "Sssound Of Mmmusic", which feat. Katerine (ah!). It's good but not great, allthough a lot of people think it is.
