Haven't heard a xtian band yet that knows how to use imagery successfully. All pretty unimaginitive, "He loves you. You are saved."
Not that a spiritual song is inherently bad.. It's the repetition of one single idea that gets old quickly. (You can slice & dice love stories many different ways.) Johnny Cash could write about religion in many ways, because his songs were true & spiritual & about his life - and for every song about God, there were songs about drugs, murderers, loves, cowboys, ...

i vote them as the only half decent christian (as in the christian thing is a major part of their music, rather than just being christian and making music, eg coldplay) act ever.
