I can probably get ahold of some old Adam's House Cat stuff for you.

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Friday, 1 October 2004 21:37 (twenty years ago)

Be warned, though. That shit is bad.

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Friday, 1 October 2004 21:37 (twenty years ago)

Roger - "Sing for Me" pops up on S0uls33k a bunch -- but it's a shitty sounding radio rip from an East Village Radio broadcast where the DJ played all their 7" songs - this, "Duffer St. George," etc.
It sounds horrible, which is such a shame because the song is clearly excellent. The Fiery Furnaces seem to like to shove their poppier songs on b-sides (see "Evergreen"), which is a bummer.

Taxi Dancing in the Soft Prison (Ben Boyer), Friday, 1 October 2004 21:51 (twenty years ago)

Taxi - i agree! That's why I'm so psyched to hear this one - my favorite stuff is the B sides, and this is the only one I don't have. What should I seek? I may end up just buying that single off eBay or something

Johnny - I'd be very grateful, and would gladly send some stuff in return! Wifey and I have been very curious - as you probably know, we're the world's biggest DBT fans. Lemme know!

an mpg of William Shatner doing "Rocket Man" at the Science Fiction Film Awards in 1979. I downloaded it about a half-year ago, but then my hard drive went kaput and now I can't find it.

Mr. Snrub, Saturday, 2 October 2004 16:55 (twenty years ago)

I have a brilliant vid of Nimoy singing a song about Bilbo Baggins. Far better than anything Shatner's ever shat out.
