i haven't. the only circle i have heard, in fact, is 'pori' which i got for $1. i'm not sure i've even listened to it the whole way through!

first track is gorgeous funky kraut groove for 12 mins with quiet burbly mika rattu getting a tad nusret ali fateh khan or whatever before they kick off. MANY MANY scruffy basement improv tracks of v lo fidelity create a beautiful mysterious murk even if none of them break into a tune or a groove. 2 more 10 minute krauty ROCK jams one being better than the other, and then the last track is a gorgeous little mark e smith meets boards of canada but in a by no means coffee table kinda way mumblin and a synthin with tape hiss it MAKES it! so more fun or more unusual than alotus. fairly funky not as heavy or over the top as sunrise. an odd little nearly gem as per usual

so,i have the disc and i have to admit to being underwhelmed. to much noodling about, not to many keepers among the tracks.

both the pharoah overlord releases are getting a shitload of play here though. i see last visible dog is set to release a live pharoah overlord disc.

Wow the two Pharoah Overload songs I just downloaded are great. Thanks for the tip.

You should also check out Ektroverdes new cd Ukkossalama(ektro). Totally great big band jazz-kraut-psyche-groove.
