Emo - The Byrds - Why - initially was a plea for David Crosby's mother to let him do more stuff as a kid. 'She kept on saying no to me since I was a baby' before being changed. Keeping in line with emo's facility to complain about 'bad family situation' - i.e. - 'A Nice Family Dinner for Once from some gadawful emo band I had to review.

The Bacon Brothers - first album was produced by Bon Jovi - who in turn wrote songs for Cher's comeback album 'If I Can Turn Back Time' - Cher - for a brief while - and along with Sonny were the main rivals to The Byrds - having taped their performance of a Bob Dylan song - did it in the Byrds style and released it in direct competition to the Byrds.

King Crimson made their debut at the Hyde Park concert with Rolling stones - opening - and I think the Hyde Park show was the memorial show for Brian Jones who was responsible for co-writing Eight Miles HIgh which was a big hit for THE BYRDS!
