New York/Miami Beach, February 3, 2004 - M3: Miami Music & Multimedia (http://www.m3summit.com/) (M3), America's new music and technology summit scheduled to take place March 5-9 in Miami Beach, FL, is pleased to announce Motorola, Inc., a global leader in wireless communications, as its key collaborative partner for 2004. Motorola's involvement with M3 will include interactive mobile music installations at M3 events, new ways for fans to engage with M3 including SMS and MMS updates live from Miami Beach and demonstrations of innovative new mobile music technologies during the week.
M3 is pleased to announce confirmed artists for the M3 Sunset Sessions, taking place 5-10 PM nightly at the Surfcomber Hotel (poolside). Confirmed acts include Dizzee Rascal (exclusive to M3), Amp Fiddler (live - exclusive), James Lavelle, Aceyalone & Abstract Rude (live, exclusive), Midwest Product (live, exclusive), Madlib and Peanut Butter Wolf, DJ Patife (direct from Brazil, exclusive), Krafty Kutz/A. Skillz with very special guest MC, J-Rocc & Shortkut (The Beat Junkies), Scott & Robbie Hardkiss (exclusive tag-team set) and "Verve Remixed". The M3 Sunset Sessions are being booked by concert promoter Jonathan Rudnick, founder and former co-owner of Giant Step.
M3 will also present two days of panels, seminars and business discussions on March 6-7, which will bring together leaders of the music industry and other related industries. The M3 Summit will be a forum for such topics as mobile content delivery, third-party licensing, digital distribution and other emerging platforms for music marketing and distribution.
Lastly, The M3 Visual Arts Festival, organized by Mack Industries, will showcase design work through a combination of film screenings, installations, live video mixing, live paintings, and a mobile phone film festival.
