a continuation of an interesting digression from the "hip hop and rap videos that are goth" thread...

vahid last said: put another way, i think the rap persona is much much much more in control of his emotions than the goth persona. i think in general the rap persona is presented as the master of his emotional life, not the servant (compare to goth: guys in ruffled shirts howling into a thunderstorm on a rooftop)
