Hello. My lovely band, The Chemistry Experiment, who doubtless you all hate, we be going on tour, oh yes we be. We will be rocking and rolling and being very drunk, and we would like your company, oh yes we would. Here are the dates/places/bands we're playing with:

Sat 13th October Nottingham, Bunkers Hill
w/The Lucksmiths, [AG], and The Essex Green

Mon 15th October Leeds, Josephs Well
w/The Lucksmiths and The Essex Green

Tues 16th October London, Toynbee Hall
w/The Essex Green and Chinese Burns

Wed 17th October Hull, The Adelphi
w/The Essex Green

Thurs 18th October Bath, Moles club
w/The Essex Green and The French Kicks

Fri 19th October Reading, Rising Sun Arts Centre
w/The Lucksmiths and The Essex Green

Sun 21st October Paris, La Guinguette Pirate
w/The Lucksmiths and Comet Gain

Come along, drink some beer, make merry. I've just come back from a kick-ass practise so I can tell you that we will be rockin' the house. Or at least as much as a fey indie band can... Oh go on, I'll be your best friend...

[we live here if you want to check us out first]

Oh, also I believe Mr Andy Lookout's band will be playing around that time, so go see them too. But not if it means missing us, of course. New answers new answers.

Nice website Emil y. Was that a rock n' roll glockenspiel I saw in your road movie?!!!

Dr. C, Thursday, 4 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You haven't got any records coming out to coincide with the tour, at all, have you Emily?

MJ Hibbett, Thursday, 4 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I may very well come along to the Hull Adelphi gig seeing as though I only live round the corner. I'll be expecting free access to all your drugs, alcohol and female groupies though.

Johnathan, Thursday, 4 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Dr C- it is a ROCKenspiel, of course...

Marky Mark Hibbett is indeed correct, we have PRODUCT in the form of The Giraffe Album, released by the loverly Artists Against Success. Not that we're against success, of course, oh no- we've already picked our outfits for Top Of The Pops...

emil.y, Friday, 5 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Don't worry Emily - it's only _Artists_ against success, you should be OK! OHO!

Sorry.

My word - has anyone else ever spent three years patiently explaining to nits why your label is called what it is only to suddenly realise you can instead use the situation for a cheap gag?

MJ Hibbett, Friday, 5 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ho ho, Mr Mark is indeed correct, I am useless. How I get away with it, I do not know...

emil.y, Friday, 5 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Mark, you are indeed correct. Oh yes you are. I actually didn't mean to phrase it exactly that same way twice, so I take it as a sign- you are ALWAYS indeed correct.
