Okay, probably not THE compilation of the year - I knwo it's February - but this looks really good. At least 4 tracks (Freeform Five (begrudgingly), Cut Copy, Man With Guitar, Black Strobe) are known to be rude as hell. And the others look promising - this could be better than the original.

What do you other dancers think?

Good luck. I listened to it this morning, if I was back in the UK I might have been able to find you a cheap one.

Also, buying this means a. more people realise Cut Copy exists and b. I can actually buy the Freeform Five track and get much better music with it! Bonus.

Kitsune Love is on sale for 10 euro in Tower Records in Dublin, they have loads of copies! I left mine at a party.

It was a wicked CD. That one also looks extremely interesting. Black Strobe are going to own 04.

Yeah I'd say compilation of the year.

The mix is not very impressive at all i must say, so don't bother downloading if you don't feel like a greatest electrohousehits of the year-experience.
It's all well-known played-to-death stuff like "Price Gun Baby", "Rocker", the "satisfaction" live version by who made who, the lfo !!! remix and the black strobe-remix of depeche mode.

I think they botched things up with 2 compilations this year. The best tracks of Maison and X are at least the equal of Midnight, probably better.

Midnight is a bit consistently stronger, and has more good exclusive stuff (the Zongamin, Black Strobe, Midnight Mike, Man With Guitar, Cosmo Vitelli tracks are all great). Maison is still good though.
