doesn't necessarily have to have been heard there, though. I have to think of my current place, but It once was Frank's Lounge in Brooklyn, and the song is "Finally" by Kongs of Tomorrow.

Right now it's the Kitsch Bar a few blocks over. Great atmosphere, relaxed, and the DJs suit the moods very well.

Swervedriver - Son Of A Mustang Ford

Music is best in the car. "Raise" is the best album for being in the car.

But what song sums up being in YOUR car is the question

Alright I have a new place! called "H********l" -- it's an odd venue, I don't know what the hell is up with that place, but I love it! It's just down an alley from Clerkenwell House; I got directed there by a bum named Jimmy. Played the "dumb American" routine to get in (it's members only I think?) and go upstairs to what looks like someone's apartment (continuity w/Frank's Lounge - I bet the loo leads into the downstairs bathroom at Frank's in some kind of international good-vibes wormhole) but there's no pounding dance music or anything, just an extremely mixed (but universally well-heeled hm) crowd, lotsa East Asians, fantastic "fashion zines" for sale, long line at the bar for wacko drinks served in an extremely leisurely fashion, saké. Friend Phil had been drinking all night long the night before and was back in the pub at 2pm so was approaching strangers and humping their legs, bringing random people into a giant "hug circle" and managing to pull them all down to the ground. He was walking that very thin tightrope between lovable lout and punchable fool like an EXPERT. the DJ was playing: Millie Small, Prince, various soul oddities, and... BAD BAD LEROY BROWN!!!!

I think I will be looking all my life 4 the place that is summed up by the version of "Stay All Night, Stay A Little Longer" where Hank Williams Sr. duets w/Bob Wills

Ned you have to name a song!

Oh, probably something by Martin Denny.
