does anybody have idea how to find the popular songlist of 1920 (or little bit later)? about 4 or 5 main title should help me a lot. thanks in advance. need it for production of "the glassmenagerie". tks eva

Um, I was in a production of The Glass Menagerie, and one of the characters was singing "Paper Moon", but that's from "The Great Magoo" (1933), so isn't any use here. But then the play did morph into scenes from A Streetcar Named Desire and A View From The Bridge, so it was playing by its own rules. Stanley Kowalski turned up as the gentleman caller.

Maybe go for Al Jolson doing "Swanee", or anything mentioned here.
