1. The new album will quite possibly rule

2. their fans are getting even lamer - the crowd looked like outcasts from MTV Spring Break

3. Isaac has put on quite a bit of weight - good for him!

4. Carson Daly has put on a bit of weight - good for him!

Not half bad.

Isaac Brock sounds like Bobcat Goldthwait on this song. It's pretty good.

I thought the song was awesome. As far as the crowd -- those aren't necessarily Modest Mouse fans, are they? I mean -- I think that's just Carson's studio audience. When they whip pan across the crowd, a few of those sorority-looking ladies start mugging for the camera, doing the type of dance you see from paid audience fillers at live MTV specials.
Whatever; can't wait for the album.

So, who's the new drummer? It almost looks like Quitty (ex Mukilteo Fairies/Tight Bros)

And yeah Isaac's looking way Frank Black/Andy Capp

That was the saddest thing I've ever seen. God, it was so terrible. The last album was so good, I wish they'd keep heading in that weird direction. The song was totally hookless random screaming and not in a good way.

Weird reponse -- I thought it was totally an extension of that Moon & Antarctica vibe. Keep in mind, the songs always sound totally different live than on record with Modest Mouse. Have you heard "Float On" yet?
