Hah, as of next Monday I am an OFFICIAL CANDIDATE IN THE LANCASTER UNIVERSITY SABBATICAL ELECTIONS- POSITION: EDITOR OF SCAN.

I'll be honest with you, it's been a mixed bag this year. The editor's obviously more keen on sport and news than she is music and arts, but... well, we've pulled some crackers out of the bag. I've received my yearly death threat, so all is good.

Are you... ex-SCAN? Ex-Lancaster University? One of my writers whose names I can never remember?

Haha no, I go to Lancaster Uni (though I'm in France on my year out) and I recognised your name when I registered here. One of my best mates was on a couple of your courses as well. So there you go, fame and notoriety!

Just thought I'd see if I could get you a little freaked out. ;)

I'm thinking of joining SCAN next year actually and writing a few music reviews if I can get that sorted out. If you get the editor's job you'll still be there. So aye, all the best.
