Mama Digdown's Brass Band is playing at the Green Mill this Friday the 13th (from 9 - 12:30, I think). This will no doubt be followed by a trip to my beloved Lawrence's Fisheries. I think I'm going to hang around the next day too and see Dave Douglas back at the Green Mill as a Valentine's Day present to myself.

It was great! Packed house, band sounded good, etc. I get the impression that we're a lot more raucous that most of the bands that play at the Green Mill...I found it hilarious that the bouncer was telling people as they came in not to talk during the performance (since we're so fucking loud that it could not possibly matter).
