canibus - c/d s/d

this man has been talked about quite a bit on ilm, but never had a c/d thread all of his own, poor chap. from looking through posts about him, seems people like his battle rhymes, but feel they are generally let down by arse productions. i personally think that "2000BC" is *great* but would happily admit that the music is nothing special - just something for canibus to get wordy over. but his writing is just excellent! i wrote something about the opening two tracks on ilm before, but i particularly enjoy him comparing himself to a car breaking the sound barrier ("that means the car is in front of the horn.../ by the time you feel it hit you i'm gone). i've heard complaints about his (monotonous?) delivery too, but i enjoy it - i like the relentless spitting and aggression.

but "2000 BC" is where my knowledge ends, so i'd like to hear opinions on his other stuff. is the debut *really* that bad? are his low-profile albums any good?

i also have to say that canibus *looks* extraordinary. he has a very curiously shaped head. i personally feel this adds to his mystique but i may be alone here.
