I'd give downriver to ICP.

webcrack (music=crack), Sunday, 15 February 2004 17:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe they can form their own new state with it and separate from the rest of us.

WOLF EYES

Jon Williams (ex machina), Monday, 16 February 2004 01:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I love Wolf Eyes, but are you serious? I mean, their songs make me feel like I'm lost in space.

David Allen (David Allen), Monday, 16 February 2004 05:02 (twenty-two years ago)

When I'm elected, I will give ICP a small plot of land near Bunky's on Michigan Ave in Ypsilanti. They will remain inside this plot of land. Their friends can come and go as they wish.

Sufjan Stevens most accurately portrays the featureless stretches of freeway in Michigan, or in any other state he cares to cite.

Curt (cgould), Monday, 16 February 2004 06:35 (twenty-two years ago)

"friends"

Begs2Differ (Begs2Differ), Monday, 16 February 2004 06:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Seger. I mean, I've never HEARD Sufjan Steven or Insane Clown Posse, but Seger feels right for Michigan.

Well, Seger and DJ Godfather. It's a toss-up between the two of them.

Broheems (diamond), Monday, 16 February 2004 08:26 (twenty-two years ago)

My vote for the entire Hanson/college-era Bulb/American Tapes/SNSE rosters

Stephen Boyle (SBoyle), Monday, 16 February 2004 18:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Wolf Eyes is *the* soundtrack to a Michigan winter!

Jon Williams (ex machina), Monday, 16 February 2004 18:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Hmmm.... am I missing something here?? Slum Village. Eminem. Are they not Michigan-ites??

Johnny Badlees (crispssssss), Monday, 16 February 2004 18:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Ted Nugent owns the North and South Central
Brian VanderArk of Verve Pipe has the Southwest
Atkins/May/Saunderson have yet to be dethroned in Detroit
Eminem is suburban Detroit

BrianB (BrianB), Monday, 16 February 2004 18:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Eisbär (llamasfur), Sunday, 17 October 2004 21:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm not that familiar with Michigan, but I think Stevens' album fails to paint much of a picture of anything except a weepy loner who thinks about God a lot. But I really do like the album.

Can Ready For The World still have Flint?
