This is kind of old news I guess, but Diddy's next record is supposed to be a collaboration w/ producuers like Felix Da Housecat, Les Rythmes Digitales, Timo Maas, DJ Hell and Zoot Woman...

I know so little about house/electronic/dance stuff but I actually own records by Felix & Jacques Le Cont... does this mean he's gone for really obvious producers or does it mean that Puffy (and I) jst have impeccable taste? ha ha anyway, maybe Jess or Ronan could school me abit on what this means

As I said, I don't know much about this stuff ... but how is a big-name American hip hop artist collaborating w/ euro house producers "3 years behind everyone else" when none of his peers have done it ever?

(not meaning to sound argumentative - I think I know what you mean about his chosen collaborateers not being as HOT right now as they were a few yrs back but just because it's LATE doesn't mean it's not NEW, if you know what I mean)

That's right. Felix da Housecat, DJ Hell and Jacques lu Cont seems actually pretty with-it for someone who usually goes for the most mainstream option. The single from last year wasn't a big hit was it? (at least not in USA, UK, NL)

I suppose that's what I meant, meaning that I'd be more interested in hearing what would be done with more current producers, having bad memories of the Jungle Brothers and Propellerheads.
