i actually didn't like any of her stuff at the time apart from the Beatmasters track which featured some good lyrics and delivery from the lass.

To begin with, check out her debut Boomania. Available at a bargainbin near you.
I find it insulting that this question is even being asked
I agree and bow my head in shame. But be assured, I only wanted to see a thread entirely dedicated to dear Alison.

Grrr! It's Betty Boo! is a much better album than Boomania... it features her only ever shit ballad "Hangover" which is in fact extremely UN-shit, and is also rather brilliant.
"Catch Me", "Skin Tight", "Gave You The Boo" all great album tracks too.
― edward o (edwardo), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 04:28 (twenty-two years ago)
That said, "Boomania!" isn't as perfect as has been suggested. "Doin' The Do", "Where Are You Baby?" and "I Can't Dance" are the only really essential tracks, but non-ownership in some form of those should be punishable by Stereophonics.
I doubt she sang much if any of the GA album because she was never *that* great a singer, not up to the GA ladeez' standards.

Anyway, C L A S S I C !
I'm going to have to look for GRRRRR! I haven't ever heard it because the concensus was that it wasn't GRRRRREAT, but I love Boomania.
I did read in one of the broadsheets a couple of years ago that she was fed up with making somgs for other people and was considering a new solo career. We can only hope.

Pop needs Betty Boo. Or at the very least, pop needs Betty Boo to write songs for Nicola Roberts' solo career if it happens.

Years ago a friend went to the UK and brought me back the "Doin' The Do" maxi-single, mostly good, but the great one on there was the one non-"Doin' The Do" track, "Shame (Hoodlum Mix)." Was going to post it from YouTube without comment, but it's not on there.

A post and video that by themselves justify twitter/the internet/human civilisation
The time I met @PublicEnemyFTP in McDonald’s on Shepherds Bush Green in 87! We’d just seen them playing a Def Jam gig so went in & said hello & the next thing I know we’re rapping with them & Professor Griff is beatboxing! The restaurant manager wasn’t so keen & kicked us out! 🤣 pic.twitter.com/1yL20Uwqbj— Betty Boo (@bettyboomania) July 28, 2022
