The Bald one, the Marilyn in Crack Hell one, the low-rent schlock-horror 'industrial' rave music, the nasty, nasel, whiney 'ooh, I'm debauched me!' lyrics... ahhh, it takes me back. The good old days.

So, King Duncan and Dead Lee (= Ace! crap names!): finishing the job that (the brilliant) Alien Sex Fiend started?

I pulled "greatest hits" out of the pile thee other day, and have been listening to it a bit. Salute the lyrical genius of king duncan:

Plus, a friend of mine went to see them back when they were "active" and managed to wangle his way back to the hotel afterwards!! he was expecting DEPRAVED PERVY PHUN, but instead, duncan x and lee 303 merely drank some tea, and went to bed!!

Really enjoy that strangely Detroit-ish passage on the first album that repeatedly pairs a distorted voice going 'sheep on drugs' with polite cricket applause.

There's also 'Motorbike' which puts horse neighing over acidy driving music 17 years before the Chems. These lads would really shine on a 'Collision Pop Nuggets' compilation.

in the interim I have listened to more of their stuff and they do have some ok songs but I think they sold more t-shirts than records
