In the wake of the janet jackson fiasco, six videos were banned from daytime mtv and will now only be played "after hours."

from what i've read, it looks like the following were included..
toxic - britney spears
miss you - blink-182
meglomaniac - incubus
this love - maroon 5

With the exception of "toxic" and "meglomaniac," I'm not positive about which ones were banned.

Miss You is a great video, btw...

I just saw both "This Love" and "Toxic" this morning.

Was This Love good?

the incubus video is kinda crappy. it has alot of religio-political imagery and stuff. im sure having an angel with hitler's face briefly switch over to an angel with jesus' face will get you kicked from the now-running-scared mtv real quick.

I didn't mind their first single ("Harder to Breathe"?), but this track just sound like lukewarm 70's shinola.

the incubus video is kinda crappy

That's `cos Incubus themselves are crappy.

So I guess this means the list is bullshit? Even if it is, there must be a list somewhere. I'm interested in knowing what the 6 most "raciest" videos are. ("Raciest," not "racist.")

It took me several listens to like "This Love" or "Meglomaniac," but now I enjoy them both fine.

Yeah, this makes sense. Each time I see "Toxic" I'm convinced that that see-through outfit is going to shift and Britney will flash some nipple by mistake. During one of these viewings I'm sure it will happen, and I'll sleep better knowing that impressionable youngsters won't be getting a glimpse of Ms. Spears nipple during the dinner hour.

Now kids will have to work hard to find videos to jack off to, just like when I was their age.

Here's the Reuters article about the MTV move, but it still doesn't mention the "other two" videos...
