Oh wait that's the "Hyperballad (Disco Sync Mix)" not the other less neat one.

yeah nearly all of her vespertine-era b-sides were on-point, to be honest. this is probably a product of the fact that she didn't attempt to spread herself across three cd singles for each release this time, nor were there actually as many singles.

Human Behaviour [The Underworld Mix]
One Day [Endorphin Mix]
Come to Me [Black Dog Mix]
Come to Me [Sabres of Paradise)
The Anchor Song [Black Dog Mix]
One Day [Springs Eternal Mix]

Are all on the album the best mixes from the album debut (for those who don't buy white labels). Mail me if you want a copy.

According to Ned Raggett's review there is a mix of Venus as a boy by Mick Hucknall which I haven't heard. Anyone throw any details on it?

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 03:11 (twenty-two years ago)

that's the 7" dream mix mentioned above, if memory serves. bj0rk i think never particularly liked the idea of hucknall doing a remix for her so it wasn't labelled as such. there's more to the story but to be honest i've since forgotten.

.. and if you ever see a download of "cities", go for it...

I have the Dream mix of Venus As A Boy somewhere, I seem to recall it being virtually identical to the original and probably not essential for non-collectory-types

What a coincidence, I was just about to start a thread on this too as I'm toying with the idea of doing an album-length mix of all the good remixes.

Some more:

Dirty Bass - Emotional Soundscape (= "Joga" remix)
Björk - Pagan Poetry (Infusion Remix)
Bjork - Hidden Place (Knick & The Enemy Remix) (= MUST MUST MUST HAVE!!!! This is a recent drum 'n bass remix, High Contrast-style and right now it's kicking my ass in a major way)
