WHO IN THIS BITCH LIKES MEATLOAF?

My quite exhaustive research has shown that no C/D or S/D thread has been devoted to the output of (in the infamous words of a certain circa late-seventies New York Times review) Mr. Loaf and his sometime Svengali Jim Steinman. Inasmuch as we've had people here confess to liking, well, liking just about anything, I think it's high time that Mr. Marvin Lee Aday gets a thread of his own.

Take the words outta my mouth! And lemme run the fuck outta here before anyone posts on this beeotch!

I LIKES ME SOME MEATLOAF. At least the hits from Bat Out of Hell are good. "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" did something fun with Springsteen's Baroque rock (it's like the teen pop version of "Jungleland.")

me! i think i described _bat out of hell_ as a collaboration between jimmy webb and a drunk bruce springsteen. FUN.

Me too! I love all Jim Steinman productions. I never heard the followup to Bat Out of Hell, though. Is it worth getting?

Meat's awesome in The Fight Club, as well.

I am shivering.

Arthur: in regards to your question, 'no'.

However, if you want that Bruce-on-Broadway fix, try Jim Steinman's solo album.

I hate THAT video, I hate him on the radio but I love just putting Bat Out of Hell or Dead Ringer on and enjoying the freedom rock to the max. Its like covering myself with cheese wiz but only cheaper.

He was the 3rd best nonSpice Girl in Spice World.

I'm just wondering, is there any way to type the sound of uncontrollable retching?
