Anyhow is there a way we can get a list of files of people want and then transfer them via a IM or something . That way we can get arround the recent RIAA fascism .

We get a list a songs people want. We get a list of IM adresses . If one of us wants a song and cannot find it thru audiogalaxy and the ilk we can look thru the databse and IM a request for it nicely.

Sorry, mny univeristy banned Kaazamn, Bearshear etc ports because of bandwidth. Its a T-10, B class site but only 20 meg/s sustained, 28 burst and before they blocked the file sharingports they were constantly puching 18-19 even at nonpeak hours. I was telneting into the main unix server being the comp sci geek that I am and getting 30% packet loss. ThoughI'd die for a copy of Avalon by Roxy Music.

Do you have icq or AIM ? because if someone has avolan they can send you it and get arround that !

I've been using soulseek a lot lately, very good file sharing program, the user base tends to be a bit "IDM" focused, but is 500X better than Limewire or Winmx..

I've got a hotline server set up at fmbb.hldns.com. Everyone is fre e to use it - download all that you'd like, and if you've got something to share, upload it. Login: guest Password: guest

If you need the hotline client, you can d/l it at http://www.bigredh.com
