does anybody get the channel, VH1 Soul?

A good friend of mine directed a video for a band called Maktub and he was just told that the video has been in rotation on VH1 Soul. It would be great to hear from you if you've seen this video on VH1 Soul. The song is called "Just Like Murder". Obviously my buddy is just starting out so it's pretty exciting to hear that his work may be getting some airtime.

Really??? wow, that's weird. i've never heard of anything like that in my life. i wonder if your roommate registered with someone to receive such calls or how the heck some promoter would end up calling to inquire about a relatively unknown band like that.

no, it's more of a soul-inspired rock band. i'm not sure how they chose the name.
