What was the last album you bought and what is you're favorite song on it so far (I mean if it is really recent).

Last one I bought was Probot.

My favorite is either "Centuries of Sin", great song to start with, or "Dictatorsaurus."

I really can't choose at the moment.

How about you?

hi aja! the darkness - permission to land. favourite song from it....ohhh tough question. maybe "givin' up", though the entire album is the singingest dancingest thing!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Saturday, 21 February 2004 02:34 (twenty-two years ago)

HI, to you too.

Thanks for answering my question.

Glad you're enjoying you're new album. I'm certainly enjoying mine. Listening to it now!

Favourite song on it is probably Universal Traveler

Dude (The Yellow Dart), Saturday, 21 February 2004 02:44 (twenty-two years ago)

the last album(s) i bought were:

arthur russell - calling out of context
mj cole - sincere (used...$2)
chemical brothers - brothers gonna work it out (ditto)
v/a - warp 10+2 classics (to replace a copy gone missing)

my favorite tracks are #4, "sincere y2k dub", the part where they mix unique 3's "the theme" and some old soul record, and "feel it", respectively.

Last album(s) bought:

Head's Up by Death From Above. Favorite track: "Dead Womb". Because it rocks FURIOUSLY! I might also add that Head's Up was fuckin' hard to find.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand. Bought it on a whim after only hearing all the hype ("the Scottish Strokes!"...they are way better than that, by the way) and the single "Darts of Passion". Favorite track: "Michael".

Cheap Trick's Heaven Tonight is the most amazing thing ever. Dream Police's got nothing on this. Because Dream Police is a steaming pile of shit.

Jasper Patches (Dating Ikea), Saturday, 21 February 2004 04:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Jasper Patches is in with the shit. Listen to him. He KNOWS.

Still waiting for their full length, but Ratatat's "17 Years" is blowing my mind.

scottontharox (scottkundla), Saturday, 21 February 2004 13:41 (twenty-two years ago)

The Afghan Whigs - Black Love

Favourite track is "Honky's Ladder", mainly because Greg Dulli sings "motherfucker" better than just about anyone else I can think of.

Nick H (Nick H), Saturday, 21 February 2004 13:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Dr.Alimantado-used/$6.99- fav track-"I Am The Greatest Says Muhammed Ali"

Chris Jones (Crackity Jones), Saturday, 21 February 2004 15:59 (twenty-two years ago)

one year passes...
Bought yesterday and am listening to now:

Talk Talk Talk

It took me forever to find this anywhere.

Let's see, favorite song on it. Well, before I bought it I really liked "Mr. Jones" and "Into You Like a Train". "Dumb Waiters" is great. I'm going to put the song that is my favorite "new" song on the album, the one out of the one's I hadn't heard before, which is probably "It Goes On". I almost like it more than "Mr. Jones" right now.

Aja (aja), Saturday, 21 May 2005 01:47 (twenty years ago)

The last album I bought was Love's Secret Domain by COIL, and I'd have to say my favorite track on it is the title track, which kicks a signifcantly sized platter of ass.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 21 May 2005 02:34 (twenty years ago)

I'm still way way way into that Feathers song "Past The Moon"

also "Fistful of Love" by Antony & The Johnsons

and "Mean Streak" ande "Mandan Dink" by Death Vesssel

Those are probably my favorite songs of 2005 so far
