The Gabriel's a mild suprise, but that sounds about right.

John Cale: boring us for 35 years.

maypang (maypang), Monday, 23 February 2004 05:27 (twenty-two years ago)

boring us for 35 years

So by your reckoning, what should he have chosen to be "impressive" and unboring?

Poppy (poppy), Monday, 23 February 2004 05:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, I'm not saying the songs he chose are boring. I'm saying that he's boring.

maypang (maypang), Monday, 23 February 2004 05:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Although the VU pick and the Westminster Abbey Choir picks are kinda dull. I mean come on.

maypang (maypang), Monday, 23 February 2004 05:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, I think he's a great arranger and producer. I particularly enjoy his first few solo albums, esp. "Vintage Violence" and "Paris 1919" and his work with Nico.

Salvador Saca (Mr. Xolotl), Monday, 23 February 2004 20:39 (twenty-two years ago)

His last record is excellent.
