Not even on at gay karaoke, if you can believe it.

I always want them to have Dr. Wu by Steely Dan but they usually don't.....Thankfully, my karaoke standby, Galveston by Glen Campbell usually is.

Can I also just express my dismay at the lack of hip hop representation at karaoke functions? Who doesn't want to get smashed and make like NWA.

last week a friend of mine sang "Blinded by the sun" by the Seahorses. Why IS that on the songlist?

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 28 February 2004 03:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh my god. Our local has The End on the songlist. Correct me I'm wrong, but isn't that around 14 minutes long? And boring?

Any Devo song other than "whip it"
Bad Brains "Sailin' On"
Joy Division "Transmission"

But I guess that's where

Any Devo song other than "whip it"
Bad Brains "Sailin' On"
Joy Division "Transmission"

But I guess that's where Punk Rock Karaoke comes in. I saw them in SF a few years ago, sadly the set list was already filled by the time I showed up. I really wanted to do Mongoloid... the guy who sang it looked like he'd been practicing for 20 years.
