yeah, the goofiness is part of the charm really.

most of the songs from existing IPs feel like an overexcited kid doing a sloppy book report while the teacher angrily reminds them they were supposed to read Brave New World.

plus, that guitar tone was so crunchy. that's what kinda disappointed me about neo Anthrax, even though I liked "Worship Music", the production was a lot more faceless and blunted.
