i'd considered it too, i think it's unlikely though.

Was thinking about going - Keiran Hebden djing! - but probably too lazy.

Hope it's good, though.

considering it is jeff mills at lost on saturday, and after last saturdays shenanigans, i think i ought to give this a miss really...

gareth (gareth), Thursday, 26 February 2004 13:37 (twenty-two years ago)

It is to me, Toby.

cis (cis), Thursday, 26 February 2004 13:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I am going to see nice indie music instead yay

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 26 February 2004 14:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Ooh, indie, what a thought.

MJ Hibbett down the 12 Bar Club innit - I have saved my pennies for a Hey Hey 16K t-shirt and am nearly about to wee my pants in anticipation.

Now why on earth do young peoples dance music DJs et all have such boring names? I mean Kieran Yawnbden? Couldn't he have called himself THE GOD OF HELLFIRE just for one night only or something?

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 26 February 2004 14:21 (twenty-two years ago)

that would be most incongruous

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 26 February 2004 14:28 (twenty-two years ago)

.. and that's a GOOD thing!

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 26 February 2004 14:30 (twenty-two years ago)

but MJ Hibbert isn't anymore exciting a name than Kieran Hebden (apart from the MJ bit which makes me think of MJ12 and secret government conspiracies about cattle-mutilating Martians, whoo) and i get the feeling the two gigs are going to be of around the same weight in 'excitement' gold too

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 26 February 2004 14:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Kieran Hebdens name is a helpful indicator of what his music is like.

Ronan (Ronan), Thursday, 26 February 2004 14:54 (twenty-two years ago)

he's a fun dj though whatever you think of his music.

toby (tsg20), Thursday, 26 February 2004 14:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Ask MJ Hibbert to play a Stereolab cover. He loves them.
