Blissed out comedown music that isn't "new agey" in a bad sense?

Have you heard the vocal version of "Belfast", called "Wasted"? Is great.

Yeah, "Belfast Wasted" is great.

Uh, I think "Papua New Guinea" by Future Sound of London is your best bet if you haven't heard that one yet.

The original "Belfast" is probably one of my ten favorite songs ever.

The Good Dr. Bill (Andrew Unterberger), Friday, 27 February 2004 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

'Rakimou' by Plaid is probably closest in mood to Belfast... utterly lovely as well.

"Belfast Wasted" is fucking horrible. Do not believe Unterberger.

Jimmybommy JimmyK'KANG (Nick Southall), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 06:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah, "Belfast Wasted" is *not* an improvement.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned 808 State - "Pacific" (State, 212, 707, etc etc)

Also, "Nothing" by Frazier Chorus works great for this and many Ultramarine tracks.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 06:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah, Pacific is a good choice. Not quite as blissed-out as Belfast, but lovely all the same.

Jimmybommy JimmyK'KANG (Nick Southall), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 06:56 (twenty-one years ago)
