A lot of Dido's songs would be gold dust if sung by someone who wasn't the aural equivalent of beige wallpaper... I think the Sugababes would do ballads like "White Flag" very well. But Dido's voice makes them all so pallid.

Haha Alex I forgot about the PERSUADERS!! Mystery solved there, huh. I like the answer about Dido, that's exactly the kind of thing I'm thinking of. Dylan too, I guess, but I like his delivery so much, even if some of the arrangements are pretty crap.
