Did that English beat song on the Ferris Bueller soundtrack (the song playing while Ferris is furiously running back home near the climactic end) ever get an official release?

it says on the page I linked above that "March of the Swivelheads" was a UK b-side. for years I loved the music and that whole sequence and didn't find out what/who it was until recently.

I went through a period of being obsessed with that Mick Smiley song a while back...it's amazing how the first half of the song is really cheesy, but in the movie you only hear the supercreepy 2nd half.

March of the Swivelheads was released on vinyl, although there was a rare double CD set by 'The Beat - Beats per Minute' that did include it.

Someone also mentioned it was on a fan club album that was in limited release.

My sister and I bought the Ghostbusters soundtrack (cassette version!) back in the day and we were both obsessed with this song. The 12-yr old me found particularly mind-bending its last 2 minutes - sooo mysterious!
