Don't they still get big play on hard/modern rock radio and MTV? I seem to see them all the time still. (Unless you are from the UK which your other choices seem to suggest and then this might just be a US/UK difference thing)

All those crappy early 90s moshcore bands:

Biohazard
Machine Head
Pantera
Sepultura
Downset
Sick Of It All
Life Of Agony
Fear Factory
Prong
Dog Eat Dog
Dub War

I suppose some of them have split up by now, can't be arsed to find out though.

The Church. I just saw a copy of the new one in the used bin without even realizing that it had come out new. For a band I used to love so dearly, it's disappointing to have to say that my only reaction was "Oh."

Apparently the new one is a "fine return to form" though! But you know, I've heard that so often about them and then been disappointed by the actual album that it means nothing to me any more. I so want them to release another great album though.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Tuesday, 2 March 2004 23:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Instead of letting those Church cds gather dust in the used bin, perhaps you should pick out one and listen to it. Their existence is still justified.
