From Anne herself on the fellers list:

"Hello folks,

For absolutely no reason TFUL282 has decided to play two
shows. One in Portland, OR; one in SF, CA.
Due to logistics/schedules it is 99.9999% certain that those will
be the only cities.
We're talking about doing it in June. You could call it a reunion
even though we never officially broke up.
That's all there is to know at this point.
Once it's nailed down, definitive info will be posted at
www.tful282.com.

thanks

Anne
"

Looks like I'll be visiting Portland quite often this year. :)

just got back from Portland and the show... If you're a fan, definitely go. they go all around the catalog. After warming up a bit, it was grand. Way too tired to go into details but I'm glad I went... all you SF people are in for a treat tonight.

(gyg, to answer your question: jay's back)

(it was really bizarre having to go the show wading through a sea of sailors just off the boat & Skinny Puppy fans, to say the least)

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 12 June 2004 23:19 (twenty years ago)

tful pushed me into a coma of joy.

now if only anne eickleberg had sang something, (such as "Waited Too Long") then it would have been divine.

jack cole (jackcole), Saturday, 12 June 2004 23:48 (twenty years ago)

our DB was a bundle of indie joy. My heart swelled just to look at him! oh, yeah, it was a good show :)

Dopey Canadian sailors wandering into TFUL shows is a sure sign that one is in the midst of the freakin' Rose Festival.

Certainly the Sailors seemed to flee once TFUL got started.

Funniest moment of the night -- two guys getting kicked out for the wussiest confrontation ever, one grabbing the other's hand and threating to break it as if he was Superman turning a lump of coal into a diamond.

(Donna Morley Timmons Black Chomsky forgot to log me out when she posted the above "donut bitch" post)

donut bitch (donut), Sunday, 13 June 2004 04:31 (twenty years ago)

did they play "change your mind"?

charltonlido (gareth), Sunday, 13 June 2004 07:10 (twenty years ago)

nope.. but they did do "sister hell"!
