And where are they now? Lauren Lavern is doing crap telly whilst constantly teasing us with a solo album, Rosita have split and Johnny X... got Single of the Week in the NME!

They have the dubious distinction of being the worst live band I've ever seen in my life. 30 munute set, 6 minutes of music and 24 minutes of fucking around and making inaudible jokes.

I always thought that Lauren and Marie should have been a comedy double act rather than members in a pop band. And I mean that - they were really funny in interviews and on stage - I always grin when I recall the "Alanis Morrisette Drink-Hat". They could have been the female teenage version of Vic & Bob.

I never heard about Johnny X getting an NME Single Of The Week. But then again, I haven't read it since about 1997. What is it called and what does it sound like?

At The Club and the Peel Sessions are just fantastic. Don't have Get In, but remember it inlcluding 'Kenix go disco!' schocker Stay In The Sun which I remember not being that bad. Single before that was the one with no tune, wasn't it? So, great in when talking, and being energertic and singing rama-lama pop songs, which was most of the time, actually.
