I saw alot of clips from it on a copy supplied by an acquaintance of his. Sadly, we should all be afraid, for it is truly terrible. It is especially dissappointing because of how much I enjoyed the live show.

yea, the plot as a whole is a bit too hippy-y to me.

I was listening to my mom's copy of Four Way Stret last night, and boy does that acoustic version of "Cowgirl In The Sand" make me angry. WHERE ARE MY EPIC GUITAR SOLOS, MR. NEIL YOUNG? WHY WERE YOU HANGING OUT WITH THAT BUNCH OF FULES(POXY)?

It looks dreadful.

I'm sure it fits in fine with the rest of Bernard Shakey's filmography.

three weeks pass...
I actually really enjoyed it. Even people going in not knowing what to expect really liked it. I was even a little surprised by how well done the film was.

I saw it last week and thought it very endearing. It helps (a lot) to be a Neil Young fan, of course. It's rough but not exactly amateurish; one review compared it to primitivist art, which kind of makes sense. It's kind of a filmmaking equivalent of his approach to music, really -- kind of punk naif cinema.
