I was in the pub the other day when this track came on...it turned out to be Why Can't We Live Together by Timmy Thomas. Anyway, until the vocals started, I became more and more convinced that I was listening to some obsucre outtake from YMG's Colossal Youth - the similarity is unbelievable: Amazon soundclip.

So...any other bands whose tracks you were sure were by others?

I was just listening to that Timmy Thomas track--swear to god. That said, I have never thought of the YMG is re until now.
