You've got the Red Hot Chili Peppers with Mother's Milk. There's Neutral Milk Hotel, who play psychedelic milk folk. John Lennon made an album called Milk and Honey and Beck wrote a song called that, too. The Cocteau Twins did Milk and Kisses. Aphex Twin did "Milkman." Just like Neutral Milk Hotel, Harvey Milk were from Athens, Georgia (and shared the first part of their name with Harvey Danger, whose second album, King James Version, featured cover artwork mostly in white, the color of fresh milk and the skin of Shirley Manson, singer of alternative rock group Garbage, who closed their eponymous debut with a song called "Milk"). My friend Travis's band, the Muggabears, have a demo tape called Milky + Free. Buck-O-Nine are a ska band from San Diego, and they titled a song "Milk?" on their 1996 Water in My Head single. Stereolab put out an EP called Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night, and I used to listen to that when I was a freshman in college, high on pot. Rufus Wainright opened his sophomore album with a song called "Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk." Kelis's "Milkshake" is notorious for attracting boys to yards, and Eric Clapton -- who was a Yardbird -- went on to play in Cream.
