DWEEZIL WALKS OUT ON COUPLES TOUR
Dweezil Zappa has fueled speculation that his romance with Lisa Loeb is over after mysteriously walking out on the couple's An Evening With Dweezil Zappa & Lisa Loeb Tour.

A spokesman for the tour claims Zappa has walked due to "personal
reasons."

This is bad news for Food Network!

Matthew Perpetua (Matthew Perpetua), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 16:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Bad news for both of their careers, too!

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 16:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I was gonna say. It's not like Dweezil has so many other opportunities clawing at his front door.

Does anyone else remember that sitcom with all the Zappa kids? Shirley from "Laverne & Shirley" played the mom, I think.

I had a crush on Moon as a teenager, I must say.

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 16:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Ah yes, here it is.

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 17:02 (twenty-one years ago)

this news fills me with immeasurable glee

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 17:37 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't be the only person who goes right past the Food Network when looking for something to watch, can I?

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 17:48 (twenty-one years ago)

Kaga should just marry himself and then the world is perfect.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 17:50 (twenty-one years ago)

It's getting really dire lately. It used to be great. Even people I've respected for a long time (like the knowledgeable, no-nonsense Sara Moulton) are going out of their way to appeal to the dimmest, dumbest, most food-ignorant sector of cable viewership (cmon, Sara, you don't HAVE to explain what oregano is, and it breaks my heart to see you reminding your audience that they might know it from pizza).

Lisa Loeb having sex with Hello Kitty would be redundant, somehow.

She went well with a little Chianti and...er, anyway.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 10 March 2004 01:12 (twenty-one years ago)

i feel so dirty

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 10 March 2004 01:12 (twenty-one years ago)

I used to have the biggest crush on Lisa Loeb in the mid 90's...

...Then I saw the outfit she was wearing the the hello kitty picture and I am not stricken with a sense of regret and loss. For real, she and jewel are like the queens of bad 00's make-over's. I am not sure if it is the fringe near the hem or the pink ribbon bow at the navel that makes my head hurt.

I cannot wait for Lisa Loeb to make her doomed electroclash album.

Poor Lisa

E! Entertainment Television said Tuesday that it has greenlighted an unscripted series that will follow newly single singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb as she re-enters the dating world.

The eight-episode series, titled "#1 Single," will feature Loeb as she moves back to New York and starts dating again for the first time since college. The half-hour series is set to premiere in January.

"Lisa Loeb is smart, talented, quirky and endearing, with a genuinely engaging and relatable lifestyle," E! Networks senior vp programming development Lisa Berger said. "She is experiencing the same thing that many single professional people her age today are learning, which is how challenging it can be to find someone to share their hectic and sometimes complicated lives."

Meanwhile, the Grammy-nominated Loeb said she believes the show will be a way to "connect with more people on a larger scale."

"I decided to do this TV series because what I do as a musician and songwriter is connect to an audience, so why not take that to another level," Loeb said.

Susan Douglas (Susan Douglas), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 23:13 (twenty years ago)

man i would kill to be on that show. lisa!!

john p. irrelevant (electricsound), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 23:16 (twenty years ago)

Lisa Loeb graduated Brown University, a very expensive Ivy League School.
Did she major in music or minor?
Previously, she went to a private school.
Do you think Lisa Loeb was wealthy?
Do you think she is extremely talented?

question, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 23:17 (twenty years ago)

do you think that frank zappa's child Dweezle would be anyone to anyone if he wasn't born into Frank Zappa's family?
do you think Lisa would be anyone if her parents were not rich?

question, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 23:19 (twenty years ago)

i just would hope she'd dress better.

Susan Douglas (Susan Douglas), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 23:21 (twenty years ago)

I saw Lisa on the street. She dresses very well. So what?
Who cares.

question, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 23:23 (twenty years ago)

you want what now?

john p. irrelevant (electricsound), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 23:24 (twenty years ago)

I'm very bored. These Noise boards are very dull. I want to fall asleep.

question, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 23:25 (twenty years ago)

TAKE IT TO THA NEXT LEVEL, LISA!!!
