trife you should pick up the kon the louis vuitton don mix cd, and just keep the opening freestyle.

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 17:31 (twenty-one years ago)

This sounds very good - it has that elegant naughty tap-dancing thing Andre 3000 seems to be going for but soooo much less forced about it, and the a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a gimmick is ++++++. It's only the first listen so none of the rhymes are sinking in but I'm sure they're fine.

yeah its possibly twistas boringest verse on the album but since ilm hates rappers i figured itd be cool to start a thread on instead of one of the south joints

$$, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:01 (twenty-one years ago)

no start more threads about the south, i like them.

adam west (adamwest), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:10 (twenty-one years ago)

haha no i just meant the south shit on the twista like the pimp joint w eightball and too short or MAKE THAT ASS ROLL LIKE A 24 w t.i.!!!

$$, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:13 (twenty-one years ago)

but ok i will start my dj smallz thread

$$, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:14 (twenty-one years ago)

both are pretty great! pimp on might be my favorite on the whole album, it's so smooth.

adam west (adamwest), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:15 (twenty-one years ago)

I love how Twista makes the phrase "let me be your manager" sound so come-hither and dirty. my favorite track on the album is probably "Higher" f/ Luda, though.

that "Milkshake" freestyle really is probably the tightest flow Kanye's ever done. I think he's improved as an MC considerably since recording most of the older stuff on College Dropout, he might come hard on the 2nd album.

Al (sitcom), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:17 (twenty-one years ago)

haha kanyes gonna come hard like when you said that cex song was 'tight'

$$, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:34 (twenty-one years ago)

hey, I don't question your belief that Quasimoto and Hello Nasty have hot beats, so leave my love of endearingly awkward MC's alone.

Al (sitcom), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:36 (twenty-one years ago)

hahaha shut up man some of those hello nasty beats wd sound aight w real mcs!!! i just got the tape off a homeless dude, its not like im patrin

$$, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:37 (twenty-one years ago)

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:39 (twenty-one years ago)

$$, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:40 (twenty-one years ago)

haha nice try

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:42 (twenty-one years ago)

dude what happens in the 90s stays in the 90s

$$, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:43 (twenty-one years ago)

$$, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 18:44 (twenty-one years ago)

i guess i do kind of miss when those jams on check your head were like the hardest instrumental funk i knew, i mean its not like the meters are really that much better
