Tomorrow (as in Friday) night from 10 to midnight, I will be spinning testrosterone-rock for throwing 'bows and punching faces in (no sissy disco crap) at the Motor City Bar in Manhattan: punk, metal, oi!, etc...I just brought in my albums today, and the first few alphabetically are by AC/DC (Bon era before they wimped out only), Angry Samoans, Babe Ruth, the Bishops, Black Oak Arkansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Herman Brood, Johnny Burnette and his Rock and Roll Trio, Cheap Trick, David Allen Coe, Alice Cooper, Eddie and the Hot Rods, Flipper, Girlschool, the Hounds, Kix, Leather Nun, Lime Spiders, Phil Lynott, MC5, Motorhead (Chiswick era when they sounded like the Bishops only), Mott the Hoople, Nazareth, Nine Nine Nine, the Nomads, the Osmonds...you get the idea. I'm bringing a whole bunch of singles too, since apparently one of the turntables is incapable of working at 33 RPM.

The Motor City Bar, which finally serves Stroh's (which is "S'horts" spelled backwards!), is located at 127 Ludlow St. (Lower East Side) Between Rivington and Delancey Sts. If you want to come, you should.
