'legacy' for me.

can't beieve there isn't a mansun thread already.
that 'six' album really is something when you're in the right
frame of mind.

there have been a couple of mansun c/d threads. i choose "anti-everything"

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:01 (twenty-two years ago)

i heart mansun, but can somebody please help me get into *six*? i just can't do it, no matter what i try. any things i should listen for, reorder of tracks, psychotropic drugs to assist? therefore, my vote is "take it easy, chicken".

"Wide Open Space".....or maybe "The Chad that Loved Me".

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Thursday, 11 March 2004 21:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I second "The Chad that Loved Me"... followed close by "Cancer".

JP Almeida (JP Almeida), Thursday, 11 March 2004 21:37 (twenty-two years ago)

"skin-up pin-up" was the last good thing they did. and it was brilliant

Wide Open Space just inches it over Legacy

stevem (blueski), Friday, 12 March 2004 00:56 (twenty-two years ago)

(i would have said Wide Open Space as well, but everyone else is going to pick that, so I thought I would throw in something different. It depends what mood I'm in though)

ailsa (ailsa), Friday, 12 March 2004 00:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I was about to say Wide Open Space too, but yeah, Everyone Must Win is a contender. No, definitely WOS for the backing vocals alone.

"SKIN UP PIN UP"

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 12 March 2004 00:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Wide Open Space......or Inverse Midas.....

David Nolan (David N.), Friday, 12 March 2004 01:12 (twenty-two years ago)

i can't remember how Skin Up Pin Up goes at all but seeing as it was a collab with 808 then i'm sure it would be my real choice

stevem (blueski), Friday, 12 March 2004 01:45 (twenty-two years ago)

"ake It Easy, Chicken" even if it is a huge ripoff of "Up the Hill and Down the Slope" by the Loft.

Mr. Snrub (Mr. Snrub), Friday, 12 March 2004 04:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I mean "Take."

Mr. Snrub (Mr. Snrub), Friday, 12 March 2004 04:18 (twenty-two years ago)

The first two minutes of 'Being a Girl'!

Kate Jane Connolly (fixitgirl), Friday, 12 March 2004 12:06 (twenty-two years ago)

"Being A Girl", definitely.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 12 March 2004 12:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Hmm Chad Who Loved Me, Wide Open Sapce, Bring a Girl are all great, but I'm opting for the Arthur Baker produced "Six" (the single version). Church of the Drive Thru Elvis ain't bad either.
