I think in 1997 I might have exploded if I found out that the guy who wrote the music for Mr Blobby (though apparently not the single) was not only a Nick Drake fan but was hoarding a super-rare Nick Drake tape which he'd never bothered to listen to once in 20 years

but yeah, would rather hear it than see pictures of people hearing it, or be photographed hearing it

"Copyright laws mean it's not my place to broadcast or release it" - really? you couldn't possibly legally have found someone to release it? sounds strange to me but then I am definitely not a lawyer
