Inspired by the "Kevin Shields, Michael Mayer and Mannie Fresh! Together At Last!" thread.

Seeing Mannie Fresh's name in current times is always weird for me. He was Gregory D's DJ, and together they morphed from an obscure Miami Bass (via New Orleans) group to a somewhat hardcore group before fading away altogether...then a decade later, Cash Money Millionaires happened, making Mannie a household name.

Black Eye Peas are similar, but on a smaller scale. I discovered them on Brain Austin Green's album rapping over Montara, and thought they'd never be heard from again.
