No crunk, no Beasties, no Hova -- and what a weird-ass choice for an MC Hammer cut.

Also no Nas or Biggie or NWA or Missy -- I know rights are kind of a hassle, but if you're going to do something like this you gotta be thorough.

Still, what did make it is pretty good. Not definitive or anything, just good.

No LL, no Slick Rick, no EPMD -- OK, I'll shut up now

They do got some Redman, not enough, though.

You aren't Nate from Steubenville, my younger brother, are you? Man, how weird that would be...

No, from St. Paul, right? MN? Okay. Everythings cool.

They should just fill the boxes with the first two Eric B. and Rakim albums and call it a day.

is Nate Dogg the only person who appears on 3 tracks on there? weird.

it probably needs to be a 50 cd box

mullygrubber (gaz), Saturday, 13 March 2004 07:26 (twenty-two years ago)

the delasoul cut is "buddy"? whafuck?

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Saturday, 13 March 2004 07:26 (twenty-two years ago)

'buddy' is one of their most famous singles. the Tribe cut is the weird Native Tongues choice.

oops (Oops), Saturday, 13 March 2004 07:30 (twenty-two years ago)

famous by about two lengths behind "oooh" "potholes in my lawn" and (the "duh" choice) "me myself and i". My issue is that it's not a particularly good track of theirs.
